Effective Date: June 1, 2025
Welcome to Seeking.Care (the "Service," "we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website seeking.care.
Please read this privacy policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the site.

We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect on the Service includes:

- Selected Facilities: The list of facilities you choose for analysis (stored locally in your browser).
- AI Interaction Data:
- The content of the raw Medicare data reports generated for your selected facilities.
- Optional patient context or priorities you enter. (Please heed the warning not to include PII).
- Your follow-up questions or prompts entered into the chat interface.
- The conversation history between you and the selected AI model.
- Your selection of the AI model provider (e.g., Claude, Gemini, OpenAI).
- Contact Information: If you contact us directly (e.g., via a contact form if available), we may receive additional information such as your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
Automatically Collected Information
- Log and Usage Data: Like most websites, our servers automatically collect log data when you access the Service. This may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and dates/times of access. This data is primarily used for security, maintaining service operation, and internal analytics.
- Information from Cookies and Similar Technologies: We primarily use local browser storage to save your selected facilities between sessions. We do not typically use tracking cookies for advertising. Our infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, may use essential cookies for security and load balancing.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect primarily to provide, maintain, and improve our Service, including to:
- Facilitate facility searches and display results.
- Generate raw data reports based on your selections.
- Process your analysis requests and chat interactions by sending relevant data (report content, prompts, conversation history, optional patient context) to the third-party AI provider you select.
- Display the AI's analysis and responses.
- Allow you to download a PDF summary of the analysis and chat.
- Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve the Service's functionality and user experience.
- Maintain the security and integrity of our Service.
- Respond to your comments, questions, and requests (if you contact us).
How We Share Your Information
We understand the sensitivity of your interactions, especially with AI models. We share information only in the following circumstances:
- With AI Service Providers: This is essential for the core functionality. When you request an analysis or send a chat message, we transmit the necessary data (including the raw report content, your prompt/question, conversation history, and any optional patient context you provided) to the AI provider associated with the model you selected (e.g., Anthropic for Claude, Google for Gemini, OpenAI). These providers process the data according to their own privacy policies and terms.
- With Service Providers: We use Cloudflare to host our website and provide security and performance services. Cloudflare processes traffic data as part of its services.
- For Legal Reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect the information processed via our Service. We rely on the security infrastructure provided by Cloudflare. Communication between your browser and our Service, and between our Service and AI providers, is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. However, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against interception or misuse.
Data Retention
- Selected Facilities: Stored in your browser's local storage until you clear it or remove the facilities via the interface.
- AI Interaction Data: We do not permanently store the AI conversation history or the raw report content on our servers beyond what is necessary for the immediate processing of your request and potential session management (like PDF generation). Server logs containing IP addresses and usage data are retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes.
- Third-Party AI Providers: Data sent to AI providers is subject to their respective data retention policies.
Your Choices and Rights
- Local Storage: You can clear your browser's local storage to remove the list of selected facilities saved by our Service.
- Optional Information: You can choose not to provide optional patient context.
- Access, Correction, Deletion: Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of certain personal information we hold. As we minimize data retention, the scope of this may be limited. Please contact us to inquire about these rights.
- Do Not Track: Our Service does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.
Third-Party Services and Links
Our Service relies on third-party AI providers and is hosted on Cloudflare. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies:
Our Service may also contain links to other websites, like Medicare.gov. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites.
Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for use by children under the age of 16 (or the relevant age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information.
International Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to use the Service, please note that we transfer data, including data sent to AI providers, to the United States and other locations for processing.
